316L Stainless Steel Sheets

316 stainless steel has better corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, in the pulp and paper production process, has good corrosion resistance. Also, 316 stainless steel is also resistant to erosion by oceanic and corrosive industrial atmospheres.

316 stainless steel (06Cr17Ni12Mo2) has excellent oxidation resistance in discontinuous use at 871 degrees C (1600 degrees F) and for continuous use at 927C degrees (1700 degrees F). At 427 degrees C-857 degrees C (800 degrees F-1575 degrees F) range, it is best not to continue to use 316 stainless steel, but in the temperature range other than the continuous use of 316 stainless steel, the stainless steel has good heat resistance. 316L stainless steel has better carbide precipitation resistance than 316 stainless steel, and can be used in the above range of temperature.
